The Context
Mazorda is a senior-led GTM studio working with B2B SaaS and data companies.
We design and run practical go-to-market systems across GTM engineering, demand, RevOps, automation, and paid media.
Our flagship work is GTM engineering — the systems layer of go-to-market: signal capture, enrichment, scoring, routing, and feedback loops that turn what buyers do into what our clients' teams do next.
We are not a high-volume agency.
We intentionally keep our client portfolio and headcount small, go deep with the companies we work with, and operate more like a GTM studio than a traditional services shop.
We've grown ~60% year-over-year while staying senior, hands-on, and experimental.
AI is part of how we deliver, not a side experiment. We use Claude, Clay, and agent-assisted workflows daily — in client work and in how we run the studio — and we expect everyone here to keep learning what these tools can do.
Alongside client work, we actively build and test internal systems, workflows, and product-like initiatives. We approach GTM more like product people than service providers.
The Role
This role sits at the center of the studio — and in front of our clients.
You'll help hold together client delivery, internal coordination, and how we operate day to day. You're the person clients hear from most: running the delivery rhythm, keeping engagements moving, and making progress visible on both sides.
Some parts of the role are hands-on coordination and admin. Other parts involve owning delivery, improving systems, and helping shape how Mazorda runs.
The founder is closely involved day to day, but you own the delivery and coordination rhythm.
You don't need to be an engineer. You do need to be genuinely curious about AI — you'll use it daily, keep learning it, and help teach it to the team and to clients.
This is a broad role by design, and it can be shaped based on your strengths — whether that's delivery ownership, client relationships, systems building, or AI-assisted ways of working.
What You'll Do
Client Delivery & Coordination (≈60–70%)
- Own delivery across a small number of active B2B client engagements — from GTM engineering builds to paid media, SEO, outbound, and RevOps.
- Be the primary client-facing point of contact for delivery: run check-ins, send sharp written updates, and keep progress visible.
- Translate strategy into clear tasks, timelines, and ownership.
- Translate technical work into client language — what we built, why it matters, what happens next.
- Push for clarity on scope, priorities, and timelines (with clients and internally).
- Surface risks early and help resolve issues quickly with the founder.
- Help client teams adopt what we hand over — walkthroughs, documentation, enablement.
- Handle practical coordination where needed (scheduling, follow-ups, momentum).
AI-Assisted Ways of Working (woven through everything)
- Use AI tools daily to run delivery — Claude for prep, updates, and documentation; Clay for data work; agent-assisted workflows for the repetitive parts.
- Spot where AI can remove manual steps in how we (and our clients) operate — and help build the workflow that replaces them.
- Keep learning: new models, new tools, new patterns. We make time for this.
- Teach as you learn — show teammates and clients how to actually use these tools, not just talk about them.
Internal Operations & Projects (≈30–40%)
- Bring structure to internal work, experiments, and initiatives.
- Improve how we document, track, and communicate work (Notion, shared docs).
- Track time and resourcing using tools like Clockify.
- Help with light operational and admin tasks (contracts, coordination, hygiene).
- Identify gaps and build better processes — increasingly with automation and AI-assisted workflows.
Who This Is For
This role suits someone who is:
- A strong mid-level Project / Delivery / Operations Manager or studio operator.
- Confident client-facing — comfortable leading calls, writing clear updates, and holding the line on scope with senior stakeholders.
- Already using AI in daily work (Claude, ChatGPT, or similar) — and genuinely curious to go deeper.
- Someone who enjoys showing others how — teaching a workflow lands better with you than gatekeeping it.
- Comfortable working in a small, evolving, slightly messy environment.
- Happy wearing multiple hats and switching between detail and big picture.
- Confident pushing for clarity and follow-through when things are unclear.
- Organised, direct, calm, and pragmatic.
- Comfortable with Slack, Notion, Google Sheets — and quick to pick up new tools.
Experience in B2B agencies, SaaS delivery, implementation, or startup operations is a strong plus.
This is not a passive support or pure EA role — we're looking for someone proactive who takes ownership and helps move things forward.
Engagement
- Part-time or full-time (depending on fit).
- Remote-first.
- Freelance to start, with a view to a long-term relationship.
- Paid trial period as part of the process.
Compensation
Flexible and discussed openly.
Please include your preferred structure and expected rate when applying.
